TMU International Student Club Fair 2021 was held via online meeting on Monday 26th September 2021 at 06.00-09.00 PM, in Taipei City, Taiwan. This event was organized by the Student Affairs Department of Taipei Medical University (TMU) and collaborated with four international student clubs in TMU; meanwhile, it is also the 1st student club fair for foreign students. The four international student clubs presented on that day, included International Student Association (ISA), Student Christian Movement (SCM), Muslim Student Association (MSA), and Vietnamese Student Association (VSA). One of the Taiwanese clubs also joins in that event, The bible study club. Dr. Wang, a Vice Dean of Student Affairs, gave an opening remark on that night. She was excited and very welcome to freshmen in Taipei Medical University. Faizul as a meeting coordinator told that this is the first international student club fair held in Taipei Medical University. He hopes that this event can be continuously held every year.

Approximately, 61 freshmen were registered in that event. Ms. Jean as supervisor of the foreign student club moderated the event. This event was very well conducted. Despite the event is a good moment for four international student clubs to introduced their activity and how to join with the clubs. In that event, freshmen can be knowing each other. One Indian student says “I was so happy knowing I am not the only one who comes from India”. Fiang, a president of ISA said that new students are most welcome to contact her club if they need help”. She also says “do not feel so lonely in Taiwan, because you are not alone, you have so many friends in Taiwan.” This event was more cheerful after Jean invited freshmen who want to introduce themself.
This event was so fascinating. New students were enlightened that becomes a foreign student in TMU means not only studying but also have the opportunity to make new friends and enjoy student life in Taiwan through joining student clubs.
